Main Responsibilities: + Maintains responsibility for all nursing care administered in conjunction with the Nurse Manager + Administers medications to residents + Gives direct care to residents, perform treatments as indicated + Assure that physicians orders are carried out and integrated into resident care plan + Documents information on residents records according to policy and procedure + Directs nursing assistants in the care of residents + Instructs associates in the use of specific techniques + May be required to work as Charge Nurse Requirements: + Valid NYS license as a LPN + 1 yr. experience in Long Term Care or acute care would be preferred + Experience with guiding nursing through the regulatory survey process + Excellent organizational skills + Able to work rotating weekends and holidays Position Pay Range: $27.25-35.00/hour Starting Pay: Based on experience Thompson Health is an EOE encouraging individuals with disabilities and veterans to apply.
