*Position Summary:** We are seeking a welcoming, organized, and detail-oriented Front Office Receptionist/Assistant to be the face of Odyssey Charter School. This individual will be the first point of contact for visitors, students, and staff, providing excellent customer service while handling a variety of administrative tasks that keep our school running smoothly. The ideal candidate is friendly, professional, and able to multitask in a busy environment. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ **Key Responsibilities:** - **Front Desk Operations:** Greet and assist visitors, parents, students, and staff with inquiries in a professional and courteous manner. - **Communication:** Manage incoming calls and emails, directing them to the appropriate staff members and departments. - **Attendance & Records:** Maintain accurate attendance records, student files, and daily logs. - **Administrative Support:** Provide general administrative support, including filing, data entry, and organizing office supplies. Collect payments for various events. - **Event Coordination:** Assist with school events and meetings, including scheduling, set-up, and communication with families. Present information to others. - **Student Services:** Handle student check-ins, check-outs, and late arrivals; issue visitor badges and maintain visitor logs. - **Mail Distribution:** Sort and distribute mail and deliveries to appropriate staff members. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ **Qualifications:** - **Education:** High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in office administration is a plus. - **Experience:** Prior experience as a receptionist, administrative assistant, or in a customer service role preferred. - **Skills:** - - Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
