Job Description:Job DescriptionSuccessful candidate will conduct financial analysis; track portfolio company performance and assess ongoing creditworthiness; prepare credit approval memoranda; and assist in the origination and structuring of senior bank debt and related credit products. You will be expected to build extensive knowledge of each client drawing upon in-depth research and industry expertise. As a member of Wholesale Credit, you will work closely with professionals throughout Risk and Global Banking and Markets, particularly colleagues in corporate banking, trading, treasury management and syndications. Responsibilities also include qualitative and quantitative due diligence on industry and company factors. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Management of underwriting / structuring / approval / monitoring / credit risk management of numerous complex relationshipsResearch, write and present financial and industry analyses in support of company specific and portfolio level decisionsPartner with the front line unit in recommending transactions for risk approval and respond to risk review and challengeEvaluate transaction and relationship risk-adjusted profitability to facilitate the allocation of and return on capitalOn-going monitoring of client''s financial performance, industry trends and emerging risks Participate in the structuring, underwriting and documentation of credit facilities designed to meet client needs as well as balance the bank''s internal risk/return requirementsMonitor and manage credit exposure associated with the bank''s broad range of products including Loans, Leasing, Foreign Exchange, Derivatives, Treasury Management, etc.Requirements:Bachelor''s degree in Finance or Accounting preferred, with 2+ years of banking / corporate credit underwriting experience.Strong technical skills, including accounting and quantitative modelingStrong communication skills, both written and verbalStrong combination of academic aptitude, quantitative skills, and strategic and creative thinkingAbility to manage multiple complex tasks while delivering high quality resultsLeadership, initiative, self-motivation and resourcefulnessTeam Oriented Time Management and OrganizationDedication to building a career in financial services***This role can be filled at the Analyst or Associate level at the discretion of the manager***Job Band:H6Shift: 1st shift (United States of America)Hours Per Week:40Weekly Schedule:Referral Bonus Amount:0 --> Job Description:Job DescriptionSuccessful candidate will conduct financial analysis; track portfolio company performance and assess ongoing creditworthiness; prepare credit approval memoranda; and assist in the origination and structuring of senior bank debt and related credit products.
