By focusing R&D efforts on four therapeutic areas and other targeted investments, we push the boundaries of what is possible in order to bring life-changing therapies to patients worldwide.Join Takeda as an R&D Business Productivity and Efficiency Project Manager where you will serve as business process support for the R&D Business Operations Framework e.g. Risk, Quality, Data Privacy, Training Committee and other governance teams established to support R&D Business Process Excellence. You will also provide project management, aligned with functional and business unit goals, to drive operational efficiencies in business processes and that increase connectivity across R&D and the broader Takeda organization. As part of the R&D Regional and Business Operations team, you will report to the Head, R&D Productivity and Efficiency Program and work across R&D and the broader Takeda organization.How you will contribute:Ensure projects are planned and executed in line with goals, timeline and budget.Support projects by being main contact point between functional leads and other stakeholders.Ensure deliverables are progressing according to specifications and completed on time.Partner with functions within R&D and other key partners e.g. IT, Procurement, Legal, Quality and EHD and other corporate initiatives, to establish relevant team sponsorship and functional representation in productivity and efficiency activities.Support collection of project and program level KPI''s and to provide project level content to internal program communications.Identify and assess risks with significant business impact, reporting to the Head R&D Productivity and Efficiency to escalate issues / roadblocks.Identify interdependencies and ensure connections are made across different projects and platform teams.Play a role in team effectiveness, ensuring open communications, effective conflict resolution and collaborative engagement within and across projects and activities.Proactively identify potential issues or obstacles and plans contingencies.
