Description Position at GroupM JOB DESCRIPTION Position: Accounts Payable Coordinator Location: New York, NY Position Overview The Accounts Payable Coordinator functions as the accounts payable point of contact for a business unit or a set of vendors, working within the Controllers Group. Responsibilities Code and batch invoices for processing by business unit / agency Review invoices to ensure the vendor is active, vendor record is up to date and confirm the invoice is not a duplicate Monitor queues in the document management system to follow up on issues that need to be resolved, working with the business unit / agency where necessary Assist with the processing of intercompany invoices Audit invoices and research unusual transactions; bring inconsistencies and problems to the attention of management as required Assist with wire initiating in the banking portal Ad hoc reporting and analysis Adhere to GroupM / WPP policies & procedures to maintain compliance with section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act YOUR QUALIFICATION: 2 years of accounts payable experience Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX or Perceptive ImageNow preferred but not required Good technical and analytical skills Exceptional organizational skills Ability to work with people across multiple disciplines Ability to manage time and stress levels and work calmly under pressure About Us GroupM is the world's leading media investment company responsible for more than $63B in annual media investment through agencies Mindshare, MediaCom, Wavemaker, Essence and m/SIX, as well as the outcomes-driven programmatic audience company, Xaxis. The base salary for this position at the time of this posting is $45,000.
