Job Description Job DescriptionFANTASTIC OPPORTUNITY available in Lower Westchester County!! One of our clients, a well known Academic Institution, is seeking an Administrative Assistant for their Science Department. This role would be supporting three scientific specialty departments, and would be fully onsite, 35 hours per week.RESPONSIBILITIES:Providing Administrative support: reception coverage, clerical duties including making copies, sorting and distributing mail, document and database management, managing keys and other departmental supplies, as well as heavy calendar management and event/meeting coordinationOrdering, tracking and managing office and laboratory supplies, managing deliveries and maintaining records (such as billing and payments)Monitoring equipment, equipment repairs, and maintaining/updating vendor contact listsProctoring classes and exams as neededLiaising with other departments to ensure a smooth transition for students entering into specific scientific programsREQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's DegreePrior administrative support experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environmentGreat computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams), to create written and email correspondence, update and maintain calendars in MS Outlook, and create virtual meetings via Zoom and MS Teams If you are interested in this opportunity, please send us your resume ASAP!
