Position Description The Search & Assistant Training team is looking for an Instructional Designer to create content for multiple training programs, including manager development. As an Instructional Designer, you will design, develop, launch, and help maintain curriculum for our global audience. You are expected to quickly establish and maintain relationships/credibility with partners, identify needs/requirements, and manage multiple and potentially inconsistent sources of content. Responsibilities Collaborate with subject matter experts, engineers, program manages, and organizational leaders to develop and organize training materials Analyze needs and design scalable learning solutions Identify learning and performance objectives Develop facilitator guides, content, and evaluation strategies Interpret evaluation data and suggest improvements based on feedback Develop and validate quantitative and qualitative assessments for learning programs Propose innovative learning solutions to solve organization needs Advocate for the learner experience Facilitate train the trainer sessions Take ownership of the production of education materials to ensure quality deliverables Fluent in current and emerging adult learning theory and measurement, and how it is put into practice in corporate learning Create leadership development training Top 3 Daily Responsibilities: Scope training needs Develop trainings Manage and incorporate stakeholder feedback and sign off Skill/Experience/Education Mandatory BA/BS in Education or related field (e.g., teaching credential) Ability to create, review, edit, and deploy training materials. 5 years experience designing, developing, and delivering learning for both in-person and online experiences. Action-oriented understanding of instructional design methodologies, tools, and techniques. Knowledge of learning format options and trade-offs. Strong project management skills. Excellent critical thinking and communication skills. Experience with data-driven decision making. Confidence when working with subject matter experts. Tolerance and enthusiasm for ambiguity and change Scrappy (e.g., be able to jump in and get your hands dirty, find the right balance between cost and quality to fit the need) Training facilitation experience Desired Masters degree in Education, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or related discipline Hands-on experience with technical topics or environments (e.g., programming, networking, front-end development, etc.) Experience with leadership development training This particular client is requiring that all new hires show proof of Covid-19 vaccination.
