The MFG team operates in a seamlessly integrated way across strategy, planning, investment, creative, business sciences and analytics, data, and technology.About the roleWe are seeking an experienced Creative Director, Digital (Copy) to join EssenceMediacom's MFG team. You're a true leader. You will provide day-to-day creative leadership across digital marketing campaigns from ideation to development to production, providing timely insights to clients and guidance to team members. You're a solutions-oriented problem-solver with a deep understanding of digital platforms and channels. As the face of the creative team, you will represent EssenceMediacom's culture and standards across all disciplines within the department and the company.You're a masterful presenter with a strong track record of managing client relationships. You can communicate creative concepts, provide a strong point of view, and effectively execute against clients' objectives. As a creative steward of our clients' brands, you will help the team internalize the brand voice and guide the style and tone of communication.While you're a self-proclaimed word nerd, you are also experienced in leading and directing all phases of digital creative work, while overseeing multiple projects through execution and managing creative teams and client expectations. You will guide and mentor the creative team to deliver exceptional, on-brand work, review all work before client delivery, and ensure creative excellence across copy, design, motion, and production. You're collaborative, and eager to facilitate decision-making across creative, activation, and media teams, and client partners.You have a strong background in creating effective digital creative campaigns while staying up to date with new and emerging creative technologies and AI. You'll help develop creative solutions that push innovation and strengthen clients' market distinction. You also have experience leading creative teams in the tech category, in either hardware or software.Some of the things we'd like you to do:Develop and direct strong creative work that addresses client feedback, adheres to best practices, and maintains creative excellenceContinuously promote and encourage creative improvementActively contribute to a culture of innovation, excellence, and accountabilityQuickly identify questions during briefing sessions and be comfortable communicating where you perceive gaps in both creative, and/or strategyBe passionate about innovative thinking, cultural trends, and all things techDeliver thoughtful creative solutions and thought leadershipMindfully articulate conceptual and directional choicesDevelop, sustain, and grow solid client relationshipsNurture a healthy and inclusive creative environmentCollaborate with a multidisciplinary team and outside partners, identifying potential roadblocks and solutionsA bit about yourself:You've got at least 7 years of experience in a creative leadership role (at least 5+ years in a digital agency environment preferred).You're a digital native who's always thinking on-screen, comfortable with the latest tech and social media trends.You're able to provide clear creative direction as well as timely and helpful feedback to improve creative processes that keep work on budget and schedule.You're a strong leader. You can equally provide creative team leadership as you can confidently articulate creative rationale to clients.You're a confident presenter. You're able to effortlessly communicate at all levels of internal and client organizations.You're incredibly organized and self-directed. You can prioritize work and resources across engagements based on short- and long-term needs. Timelines, budgets, and staff availability change often.You're a player/coach. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.
