Additionally, our Technology Center for Hemostasis and Blood Gas Reagents is in Orangeburg, NY, and our Technology Center for Whole Blood Hemostasis is in San Diego, CA.Position Summary:Responsible for working closely with R&D, Marketing, and Operations to create, revise, and release Product Inserts, Packaging Artwork and Labelling Artwork in accordance with regulatory requirements, standards, and Werfen procedures. Responsible for writing and illustrating both electronic (PDF/On-Line Help) and hardcopy product documentation according to industry standard writing and publishing practices, utilizing state of the art desktop publishing and design tools.Key Accountabilities:Ability to generate detailed technical descriptions and procedures utilizing state of the art desktop publishing tools, work instructions from 30 CAD models and digital photos.Develop and maintain the layout and production design of manuals, product inserts, packaging, and labelling.Maintain and, when needed, design logos/branding for products.Support Operations with creation of symbols, pictograms, and graphics related to products and the production environment.Support production printing operations/troubleshooting printing issues.Coordinate translation activities with translation houses/affiliates.Proofreading/reviewing graphics artwork generated by contracted service providers.Proficient in the creation and processing of Change Orders.This includes familiarity with the SAP interface and change mechanisms required to affect these changes.Troubleshoot issues that may arise with artwork for internal/external printing.Coordinate with the Materials department to meet artwork requirements for labelling.Experience creating precise and clear technically oriented product support documentation, including product Operators Manuals and product Service Manuals for use in testing, troubleshooting, and repairing of capital equipment instrumentation.Strong hands-on experience and ability to develop and evaluate product Operators Manuals, both on-line and hardcopy to ensure information is complete and correct.Maintain and distribute Official Text Notices (OTNs).Perform other related duties as assigned.Budget Managed (if applicable):N/AInternal Networking/Key Relationships:The incumbent is expected to independently interface with numerous functions, manufacturing plants, and suppliers. Therefore, the position requires the ability to balance priorities and commitments. The following qualifications are necessary:Ability to work effectively with other disciplines and departments such as Marketing, R&D, and Operations.Ability to perform multiple tasks and ability to effectively manage conflict.Self-motivated/directed with the ability to organize and supervise activities with minimal supervision required.Skills & Capabilities:Possess strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.Possess ability to work in conjunction with other disciplines and departments across the organization.Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office applications.Possess ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.Possess ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.Possess ability to thoroughly evaluate, clearly understand and communicate all aspects of assigned project.Be accountable for the identification, reporting, and development of resolutions for problems.Ability to deal with wide variety of cross-functional quality related functions.Min Knowledge & Experience Required for the Position:BA/BS degree in a technical field is required.5 years' experience as an Artwork Graphics Designer in a regulated industry preferred.Demonstrated expertise with graphics generation and editing, using state of the art graphics tools (ex.
