Our client, a leading consumer products manufacturer is seeking an Event Management Specialist for their Melville, NY office. This position offers a hybrid work schedule requiring you to be in the office Monday and Wednesday and an option to work from home the remainder of the week (unless a specific business need arises requiring in-office attendance on other days). Note that work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time based on business needs.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Coordinates, supports, and executes various events such as corporate social responsibility programs, executive dinners, sponsorships, and trade shows. Works with vendors (production vendors, travel agencies, etc.) Organizes and plans logistics (e.g., facility recommendations, menu selection, transportation arrangements, and audio/visual equipment) for trade show events. Ensures protocol is followed. Supports Sr. Manager with the installation of new showroom exhibits. Conduct showroom tours after learning the showroom script.Ensures protocol is followed throughout the process. Provides on-site support. Assists with the development of communication materials for all events. Maintains and tracks the budget for the event. Maintains database of all events/trade shows on a monthly basis.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience requires 5 years of related experience and must have corporate experience. Microsoft Suite experience is required.Will require Local travel.
