As such, GS is focused on building out a data-and-technology enabled team of growth marketers, delivering value for the brand and the business. The organization will consist of a number of key center of excellence (COE) roles in areas such as Brand, Media, and Marketing Strategy, as well as marketing leads for each of our revenue divisions. Together, this team will collaborate to build a unified, scalable, and consistent approach to marketing the brand and its offerings. Our mission is to be a demonstrable force multiplier for the businesses we serve.Within Global Marketing sits the Consumer marketing team, responsible for end-to-end marketing strategies and programs for the entirety of our ambitious consumer banking division. Working across our closely with teams in each line of business including Marcus, Card Partnerships, Embedded finance and more. The team leads messaging strategy, content creation, digital marketing, and marketing analytics. As well, Global Marketing contains a COE for paid media, responsible for designing and implementing a paid media strategy that identifies distribution channels across multiple platforms, executes best-in-class media activations that amplify the brand and business strategy for our priority audiences, leverages data and insights to drive the marketing strategy and identifies key opportunities and trends that exist within the media landscape.The Role:This role sits at the intersection of these two teams: divisionally aligned to meet the goals of Consumer marketing, and a valuable member of the paid media COE driving specialty expertise and a unified approach to media across the firm. The VP, Paid Media will oversee all Marcus media strategy, planning, and activation reporting to the Managing Director of Consumer Marketing with a functional dotted line to the Managing Director Global Paid Media. Consumer/Marcus engages in all forms of media with a customer focused approach including Traditional Linear/OTT/CTV/VOD/OLV, all Digital, Social, and Search. The ideal candidate will have experience in media planning across paid owned and earned. Disciplined, organized and process oriented along with excellent presentation skills. Should be well-spoken and demonstrate the ability to exude confidence in strategy, analytics and measurement. This strategic player will be overseeing the internal Consumer/Marcus media team as well as the agency team. This hire will serve as a senior media contact for the Marcus business, oversee direct reports, and be accountable for media planning and buying efforts. You are a passionate, talented, and driven media professional looking for an opportunity where you can feel the impact of your work across the business and contribute to overall best practice work firm-wide including joint business partnerships. You are a proven manager with deep POE knowledge and perspective. You will serve as a strategic partner to marketers but like to get tactical as well.You are well versed in audience insight and data segment builds, communications planning, tactical media planning, implementation, measurement and tracking and all of the tools and systems that can be leveraged for optimal planning and buying in the ever changing media landscape.
