What This Position is All About: The Senior Manager, Benefits will work with the Director, People Effectiveness to ensure a successful and positive experience for all SFA Associates by developing and implementing the SFA Benefits Strategy, working closely with third-party vendors (broker), internal and external stakeholders. As The Senior Manager, Benefits, You Will: Oversee design, communication and management of all benefit plans, including Medical, Dental, Wellness, Life Insurance, Disability, Tuition Reimbursement, Safety and Worker''s Compensation at all stages of employment life cycle Work closely with the benefits broker and vendors to design on benefits initiatives and events, including annual open enrollment periods Lead the team on completion of necessary reporting and reconciliations for standard benefits. Prepare and settle annual benefits audits as required by federal / state law and company policies. Counsel employees on benefit policies, enrollment, procedures, leave administration and claim resolution, in partnership with People Business Partners and third-party carriers as required. Manage design, communication and compliance of Retirement Plans, serving as Recording Secretary of the Employee Governance Committee and coordinating quarterly agenda with plan administrator and fiduciary advisors Who You Are: You possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and collaborate across the business You are a proactive problem-solver who is intuitively focused on the Associate Experience at all times You thrive in a rapidly changing environment with exposure to a wide variety of critical People functions You want to make a meaningful impact to our People function, our Associates, our Clients, and the evolving Luxury Retail industry You Also Have: 5+ years experience in benefits administration Experience leading a team Experience working with a mid-sized organization a plus Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Deep understanding of federal and state disability and paid family leave laws Your Life and Career at Saks Fifth Avenue: Be part of a world-class team; work with an adventurous spirit; think and act like an owner- operator!
