VP, New Products and Lender PartnershipsThe Vice President, New Products and Lender Partnerships is a senior leadership role within GWL. The role will partner closely with the Head of Originations and other GWL and Nuveen executives to launch new products and partnerships that (1) expand the total addressable market of our current C-PACE offering (ex. optimizing C-PACE for condos and co-ops) (2) complement/facilitate the deployment of C-PACE financing (ex. construction lending mortgage to pair with C-PACE), and (3) further GWL''s mission to make clean energy a smart business decision for commercial property owners (ex. non-PACE lending product for the municipal, university, school, and hospital ''MUSH'' market). This role will lead GWL''s efforts to systematize and deepen lender partnerships with the goal of increasing inbound deal flow, lender consent rates and predictability, and establishing joint lending partnerships. Key Responsibilities and DutiesWork with GWL team, clients, and origination partners to identify current bottlenecks to growth and corresponding lending solutions. In partnership with the capital markets team, identify the best path to structure, price, and launch lending solutions (ex. white labeling existing partner products, creation of new partnerships, joint ventures, debt fund creation, etc.). Partner with internal stakeholders to create lending parameters and clear legal and compliance requirements. Work with marketing and originations teams to create talking points, sales collateral, FAQ and process guides; assist team in closing early originations and factor market feedback into product improvement. Standardize GWL approach to senior lender consent and support originations team in structuring productive partnerships with regional banks, national lenders. Foster a fulfilling, meritocratic, and teamwork-driven culture. Gain familiarity with GWL''s current lending and go-to-market strategies; originate and close several transactions while onboarding into leadership role.
