The Bridge is a 501©3 non-profit organization that provides vital mental health and housing services to some of the most vulnerable New Yorkers. It offers a comprehensive range of evidence-based rehabilitative services, including mental health and substance abuse treatment, housing, vocational training and job placement, healthcare, education and creative arts programming. The Bridge is a consolidated entity with 40 different corporations, assets of over $200M, and an operating budget of $70M+ in FY 2022. The agency is the recipient of state, city, and federal funding, and bills Medicaid and Medicare for some services. The CFO provides leadership in all areas related to the fiscal operations of the agency. Responsibilities: The Chief Financial Officer ("CFO") serves as the primary point of connection between the finance department, and other departments within The Bridge, as well as the outside world (on fiscal matters). S/he works with the Senior Management and Board in developing and managing plans to enable the organization to protect and grow its assets in order to fulfill its mission. The CFO oversees the 18-member finance team, providing oversight to the financial operations. The CFO also: Advises the CEO and senior management on financial matters affecting the Bridge; works with the SVP of Housing Development to grow the Bridge''s housing portfolio; works with the Senior Management to develop annual budgets and budgets for new programmatic initiatives; works with the CEO to keep the finance committee and the Board apprised of the financial position of the organization.
