Director - Healthcare AnalyticsPayer Strategy & ContractingHybrid (based in NYC) Hospital for Special Surgery is currently seeking a Director to be responsible for all Managed Care reporting and statistics as it relates to Payer Strategy & Contracting. ResponsibilitiesWorks closely with contracting team to provide analytical support for all contracting efforts, including: payer contracting, bundled payment contracting, pay-for-performance contracting and other emerging reimbursement methodologies Creates models to evaluate the financial success and impact of new contracts, opportunities, policy changes, etc.Develop reports and provide analysis of physician and hospital reports by service (I/P, AMS, Radiology, Lab, etc.)Design and manage all standard monthly reporting.Mentors junior analysts to develop technical and analytic skills. Qualifications Bachelors Degree7+ years Provider/Payer contracting experienceAdvanced experience with APR-DRG, MS-DRG, Ambulatory Surgery Center groupers, APC, APG, and RBRVS reimbursement methodologiesData Management/Analytics (Expert)Technically advanced; Proficient in MS Excel and MS Access, EPIC experience is a plusKnowledge of hospital operations, health/insurance benefit plans, revenue cycle claims systems and complex reimbursement methodologiesDetail oriented with the ability handle multiple projects simultaneouslyA strong customer service orientation as well as the ability to work effectively with people at all levels is essential. Exceptional oral, written and organizational skills Other Requirements #LI-Hybrid Pay Range - Minimum USD $160,000.00/Yr. Pay Range - Maximum USD $200,000.00/Yr.
