Job description Job Title: Financial Analyst Reports to: Sr. Financial Controller Number of Direct Reports: 0 Key Internal Partners: Accounting, Business Controlling, Operation Controlling, IT dpt. Key External Partners: Banks, External Auditors Location: New York, NY (Hybrid) Timing: VIE, Start Q1 2024, 18 month term Job Summary: The Financial Analyst will bring technical expertise to ensure the quality and accuracy of finance data, then process, design, and present it in ways to help people, department, to make better decisions in an automated fashion. The Financial Analyst will conduct any continuous improvement actions to strengthen the overall cash and treasury functions. The Financial Analyst will also work with the IT and finance departments to provide new reporting design, more data-driven and more automated to enhance overall productivity of the team, straighten data accuracy, and maintain process sustainability. Duties/Responsibilities: Database and dashboard development and modification efforts: Ensure accuracy and consistency of database used in reports and dashboard Collaborate with the IT department to establish dataset through the Data Warehouse Participate in building enriched reporting, responding to new KPIs needs Cash Enhancement Project: Review business process, propose a new design and deliver a new solution using internal tools such as DataHub, Power Query, Power BI, scheduled queries, Workflow Assist in building cash-related dashboards (DPO, DSO, DIO) Assist the Sr Financial Controller to improve Free Cash Flow methodology Develops and maintains documentation and instructions for new process Participate in the overall analysis and optimization of the treasury functions: Participate in the opening / closing of bank accounts to fit Group core-model Conduct new cash-collection process and coordinate with AR department Contribute in cash-flow optimization projects Provide insights / presentation to help navigate the cash performance (Working Capital, Balance Sheet Analysis) Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Power BI and Teams Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Problem solving skills are essentials for this position Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and challenges Previous exposure to financial domain datasets and analytics is a plus Physical & Travel requirements Must be able to work in normal office conditions Must be able to work a minimum of 8 hours per day Minimal travel (5%)
