BK Growth Ventures, which also includes BNY Mellonu2019s world class Data Management & Software business, is a newly created business segment at BNY Mellon that canvasses the global markets for opportunities to monetize our existing capabilities and execute growth deals for the company. The team is located in all of BNY Mellonu2019s regional hubs u2013 New York, London, and [India} u2013 and operates as a truly global business.Weu2019re seeking a future team member for the role of a Market Research Business this role, youu2019ll make an impact in the following ways: Under guidance from more senior colleagues, conducts, coordinates, and analyzes market research for internal clients; supports colleagues and project or business unit managers to define research goals, design instruments/methods, and field the research. Conducts analysis and reports results. Supports client-facing staff in various areas of the Bank with research requests. Builds knowledge of available data sources and how to leverage internal and external systems, databases, etc. to develop theories, describe characteristics, and explain motivations behind market behaviors and environments Gathers internal and external research via Internet, trade publications, paid online databases, etc. on marketplace issues/trends and business intelligence for select Bank operational areas. Assists more senior analysts with assembly and review of data; conducts statistical analyses; completes studies of markets and industry groups. Acquires and begins to apply knowledge of departmental methods and procedures. Works with senior management to produce internal and external business communications within Growth Ventures To be successful in this role, weu2019re seeking the following: Bacheloru2019s degree in marketing, business, communications or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. 2-3 years of total work experience preferred; market research and analysis experience preferred. Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $68,000 and $120,000 per year at the commencement of employment.
