Working on the Business Operations Team, you'll become an integral part of how GDIT is able to ensure the safety and security of our nation. At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Financial Analyst Senior, you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on a Financial Analyst Senior joining our team to perform financial analysis and reporting associated with our business operations for a classified program. Responsibilities: Revenue recognition, forecasting, development, and documentation, and invoice preparation/review. Communicate at all levels of management with business partners on a regular basis. Review and understand contract terms and contribute effectively to the vendor setup and closeout processes. Provide data and financial analysis in support of external customer requirements, Acts proactively and demonstrates initiative. Acts as a liaison between business operations and other administrative GDIT support organizations on financial issues. Perform ad hoc analysis as required. Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking. Report on financial performance and prepare for regular management reviews. Analyze past results, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements. Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc forms and reports. Responsible for invoicing and billing, purchase requisitions, CDRL support, and other program requested ad hoc reporting. Creation, maintenance, and updating of financial spreadsheets, and generates various financial reports as required. Support assigned managers in managing, tracking, monitoring, and reporting financial data as requested. Qualifications: Secret Clearance Bachelor's degree plus 5+ years related experience, or six years related experience in lieu of degree. Proficient with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments within the organization. Strong organization skills and focus on accuracy and consistency. Strong analytical and problem solving Capability of providing deliverables with excellence and a strong sense of ownership. Ability to work independently and as a team member under changing priorities. Comfortable working with business clients, facilitating discussions, assimilating processes, and building relationships.
