Essential Job Functions: Profit and Loss responsibility along with key leadership responsibilities to include customer delivery, planning, budgeting, recruiting, team development and leadership consistent with company values, customer relations, contracts administration and financial management for a department reporting to the Warfighter Integration Division Lead. This position also includes responibility for supporting business development, business capture, and proposal development. Experience in the Federal Government technical services sector with a specific focus on DoD. Responsible for a top line annual Revenue budget. Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, potential customers, teammates and potential teammates. Responsible for Growth of assigned portfolio. Responsible for supporting a business development strategy and execution including establishing growth targets, evaluating potential opportunities, leading capture efforts. Coordinate and work closely with other DCS Operational Managers and Corporate Finance, Facilities, Security, Human Resources, Corporate Development, Contracts and Information Technology to achieve organizational goals and performance. Position Entry Criteria: The Operations Department Manager is responsible to provide the support and mentoring of their Operations Branch Managers to help develop them to greater achievement and ultimately to promotion. The Operations Department Manager will ensure that their organization and projects are managed so as to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Growth is expected to result from expansion targets for the Department as well as tactical development of add-on and follow-on business from each Branch. The Operations Department manager is responsible for submitting an annual budget for the Department forecasting the project revenues as well as direct and indirect costs. The Operations Department Manager must be an advocate and supporter of the DCS Quality Management System (QMS) responsible for QMS compliance with emphasis on QMS process improvement. Operations Department Managers must exercise leadership and management authority over assigned Operations Branch Managers. The Operations Department Manager reports the Division Manager and has multiple Operations Branch Managers reporting to them. The Operations Department Manager will be required to complete all DCS University training associated with their position once hired. Required Skills: Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required. High School diploma/GED and 18 years of relevant experience; or a Bachelor''s degree and 10 years of relevant experience; or a Master''s Degree and 9 years of relevant experience. Active Secret Clearance. Minimum of 5 years'' experience in business development and general management. Demonstrated Leadership experience. Understanding of DoD support contracting, and financial management. Knowledge of DoD structure, roles, missions, and support requirements. Desired Skills: Experience hiring DoD services support. Experience in Business Development experience in Capture and Proposal execution and management a plus. Military service is a plus.
