Job Description Job DescriptionKings Bay Y / JCC Brooklyn and Service RepresentativeThe opportunityKings Bay Y/ JCC Brooklyn is a community space that connects, uplifts and inspires. It is a Jewish Community Center with and without walls. We welcome everyone from all religious, racial, and ethnic backgrounds as we provide a wide array of programs for children and families to explore Jewish culture, values, holidays, and Israel through music, storytelling, art, Hebrew, and food. We offer early childhood programs, summer day camps, after-school and other fun and engaging programs for familiesThe Customer Service Representative facilitates the efficient operation of the assigned department by performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasksMain ResponsibilitiesWork with massive volumes of data in ExcelProvides administrative support, such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning, etc.Provides information by answering questions and requestsCreate and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physicalSchedule and coordinate staff and other meetingsPrepare communications, such as emails, reports, and other correspondenceContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as neededQualifications High school diploma or equivalent education requiredCustomer service experience - at least 1 yearProficient in Microsoft Office Suite Experience working with data in ExcelExcellent interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work independentlyScheduleMonday to Friday & occasionally Sundays (schedule varies) SalarySalary: $16 - $18 per hour
