This role is full-time. We offer a competitive salary, pay based experience and on call pay as well as Relocation Bonus Plus, don't forget about our other amazing benefits and perksRequirements for consideration: Bachelor's Degree in Perfusion Science or related field Five years' experience as a Perfusionist Certified by ABCP as a Clinical Perfusionist required upon start. Job Responsibilities including but not limited to: The Manager of Perfusion Services leads and manages all aspects of perfusion services, including patient care, research, and teaching/training of perfusion staff. The manager works closely with cardiac surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other medical professionals to ensure that the highest level of patient care is maintained in the operating room. This position is also responsible for maintaining equipment, managing budgets, and participating in organizational planning and quality improvement initiatives. Manages and trains perfusion staff, including developing orientation, education, and training programs. Maintains and troubleshoots perfusion equipment and supplies. Monitors patient safety and team dynamics in the perfusion room. Collaborates with other medical professionals to ensure an optimal patient outcome. Maintains accurate records and documentation of perfusion services. Develops and manages departmental budgets. Clinical resource for all direct-reports; Promotes psychological safety amongst direct reports and multidisciplinary care team; Liaison between Perfusionists team, APPs, nursing, physicians, and other providers. Ensures appropriate scheduling/staffing is maintained and escalates staffing needs in an appropriate and timely manner. Appropriately communicates needs to Director, elevates issues appropriately; Ensures effective and positive communication to multidisciplinary team. Ensures onboarding process is in place and followed; Ensures Perfusionists maintain appropriate competencies associated with credentialing necessary for maintaining clinical privileges. Provides valuable feedback to team by performing annual performance evaluations. May perform additional duties as assigned.
