Unit Description Sodexo's Point of Purchase (POP) Support Unit is seeking a System Support Specialist.This is a remote position. The schedule varies according to business need, and there is some flexibility. The System Support Specialist is responsible for the management, administration, and maintenance of culinary and product item management menu data. This position supports both internal corporate teams and solutions as well as in unit managers, systems, solutions, and technology. This includes developing methods and procedures for training, testing, implementation and coordination of data delivery, and data integrity. Includes duties around developing communications, training and procedures documents, performing audits and identifying and recommending process improvements. The successful candidate will: Complete tasks assigned by the supervisor in accordance with corporate guidelines. They will provide accurate, friendly, quality service to customers/clients when processing customer/client transactions. The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below, but Sodexo may identify other responsibilities of the position. These responsibilities may differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements. As a natural problem-solver, you thrive on challenges. You're also an expert at implementing solutions. Perform and manage data entry to ensure the sites are using correct item and pricing controls with our preferred point of purchase systems and mobile points of purchase. Help assemble and program the menus for point of purchase. Maintain records, prepare forms, verify information, and resolve routine problems. Fully understand how multiple websites communicate with each other and down to the point of purchase and the impacts to the business. Work with onsite unit managers to educate them on compliance needs with their menus, troubleshoot unwanted issues with the point of purchase, and train them on how to complete needed tasks done at the unit level. Oversee the execution of the needs in the Support Inbox and the daily deliverables of the operation. Delegate tasks and helps to train Item Management Specialists as needed. Comply with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Is this the right opportunity for you? Ability to work a flexible schedule according to business need that may include occasional evenings and weekends. Strong or able to learn proficiency in MS Office - Excel, Word, PPT, Outlook, Teams, and other Sodexo web applications. High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. Sodexo Food Service Unit Operator experience from a supervisory level or above Experience with Item Harmony and Infor preferred 0 to 1 years related experience. Presents self in a highly professional manner to others and understands that honesty and ethics are essential. Ability to maintain a positive attitude at all times including during a work crisis. Ability to communicate and collaborate with co-workers and other departments with professionalism and respect. Maintains a professional relationship with all coworkers, vendor representatives, supervisors, managers, customers, and client representatives. Must have proficient social phone and computer skills (email, texting, etc.).
