On SiteSalary $19-22 per hourWork on site 100%HOURS: 8-5 - no overtimeBi lingual Spanish is a plusThe Customer Service Specialist role is responsible for all aspects of the customer journey, as well as coordinating with the internal stakeholders such as Sales, I.T., and Finance. Primary responsibility of seamlessly and consistently handling Customers' orders from order entry to invoice and providing excellent customer service in line with our Company's mission and values.Duties & ResponsibilitiesEnsure availability of up to date and accurate Customers and items information including pricing (master data) to allow for an efficient and accurate order and invoicing process at all times.Process Customers orders (via e-mail, fax, EDI), including verifying details (items, prices, quantities, delivery date) in line with predefined processes and timelines, all through confirmation and invoicing.Follow through with all Customer issues that arise ensuring prompt and efficient resolution. Handle Customer inquiries, requests, and complaints.Coordinate and communicate with internal interfaces in all Customer-related matters, in particular Customers orders (sales, accounting, logistics, manufacturing, quality).Prepare monthly commissions for brokers and submit to responsible Account Manager for approval prior to payment.Prepare and organize shipment of samples according to instructions of the responsible Account Manager.Archive related files and documents.Prepare necessary documentation incl. certificates for export.Supports with the collection of open Accounts Receivables.Other tasks in accordance with business needs, as instructed by the supervisor.Qualifications/minimum requirementsFluent in English; Spanish a plus.Previous experience in Consumer Goods (CPG) a plus.College degree or equivalent experience.Proven work experience in operations preferably in the food industry.Excellent written and verbal communication skills including active listening.Attention to detail and proactivity in handling customer requests.Service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances.Proficient in Microsoft Office with the ability to learn new software.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Ability to multi-task and prioritize under pressure.Physical DemandsProlonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.These physical demands are representative of the physical requirements necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
