Job Description Job Description We are seeking an EXPERIENCED Automotive Service Manager to join our team. As an Automotive Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our automotive service department. This includes managing a team of service technicians, ensuring excellent customer service, and maximizing profitability Duties:Manage and supervise a team of service technicians, providing guidance and support as needed Schedule and prioritize service appointments to ensure efficient workflow Ensure that all repairs and maintenance are performed accurately and in a timely manner Monitor and control inventory levels of parts and supplies Collaborate with the sales team to upsell additional services or products to customers Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns or issues promptly Oversee the service writing process, including accurate documentation of services performed and associated costs Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in automotive technology Experience: Previous experience in automotive service management or a similar role is required Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures Familiarity with dealership operations and processes - Proficient in brake repair, tire service, air brake systems, and other automotive services Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with customers Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and inspire a team Proven track record in maximizing profitability through effective management strategies We offer competitive compensation based on experience.Oversee service repair orders and flow of Drive Lane. Ensure that customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective serviceTake ownership of the customer's experience by carrying out those additional assignments that allow the dealership to leave a positive impression with the customerProvide concierge support for all owner inquiries, whether phone or in person, to assure the customer does not get mishandledAnswer technical questions about vehicle problems, warranties, services, and repairsMaintain Customer Success Index at or above company standardsMust be organized, thorough with all process and handling Ro from opening to closing. Reinforces company policies and adheres to company standardsEncourages compliance with applicable laws and regulationsMaintain good working relationship with factory(s) and foster positive employee relationsMust have an understanding of warranty process, closing repair orders correctly Keeping customer updated with the repairs. Processing customer request accordingly.Keeping Service Manager up to date with any customer issues or concerns.Keeping CSI to customer satisfaction. Must be able to work Saturday's.
