Destination Monro! - Your career is here.Job DescriptionAbout the Role:Reporting to the Director Store Operations, this individual represents the central point of contact across field organization for all matters that involve Store Operations. This role will work in the in the field, at stores to identify improvements in the Standard Operating Procedures. They will work directly with the Store and District Managers and help track and guide the team to 100% on time task''s completion. Continuous process improvement for the Store Teams and District Managers in time management, efficiencies and performance is the primary responsibility of this role.The Store Operations Specialist is tasked with consistently representing the "Voice of the Field" during cross-functional activities at the Store Support Center by leveraging insights and strong partnerships developed with District and Store Managers. He/She must effectively establish strong credibility with the Monro Leadership Team. Maintaining a positive, constructive attitude is critical as this role sits at the crossroads between the Store Support Center and Field as change occurs on a regular basis.Essential Functions:Participates and provides support on the following areas of focus, including but are not limited to: Monro.Forward initiatives, DM-oriented sales planning and forecasting processes, store-level performance improvement planning processes, participates in business reviews, operating and financial statement insight, VAST learning and development subject matter expert, store management pay/bonus/incentive expert, scorecard reporting, inventory analysis, leadership meeting development and support, contests and other programs effectiveness, and overall subject matter expert for operating a Store. Essential Duties:OperationsCoordinates Onboarding for new District ManagersEnsures all new District Managers are set up with all technology and tools and are fully operational before they are assigned to a District.Works in the field with new District Managers at least two days prior to assignment verifying they are fully trained.Reviews and evaluate all Operational related SOP''s. Make recommendations on updates to SOPs, field test the recommendations, and develops the final product to be deployed.Represents as the Point Person for coordinating all activities associated with the New Store opening and Acquisitions.Requires keen engagement with Store Construction, Planning & Allocations, and Marketing associates at the Store Support Center to execute grand openings flawlessly.Actively participates in cross-functional business review meetings.Subject matter expert in VASTConducts operational UAT for any projects impacting Store OperationsDevelops, implements, and tracks effectiveness of the "Day in the life" of a DM.Recommends improvements and develops content for the DM ToolboxSets the example and reinforces a positive tone for Policies and Procedures compliance for field organization.Partners with training to continually educate the DMs and SMs on procedures, initiatives, etc., develops store-level awareness programs.Recommends necessary DM and store tools to increase exception visibility, and performance by store. Works strategically with IT to deliver innovative tools that enhance the stores capabilities.Manages the content for the Store Communication Boards.Works directly with Inventory & Facilities to ensure alignment on major task completionsCommunicationWorks closely with the Department Leaders to ensure corporate initiatives are communicated and executed out to field organization in a timely manner.Owns and leads testing strategies in the field. Directs execution, monitors progress, end date, and delivers feedback.Builds strong partnerships in both the Store Support Center and field. LI-CF1QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:Associates or Bachelor''s degree in business, communications or education preferred.3 plus years of retail store Manager experience including management of a team with 5 or more employees along with 2 plus years of multi-unit leadership in the Automotive Service termediate/Advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint Skills.Must be able to multi-task/problem solve and possess strong project management skills; strong analytical and time management skillsSelf-directed team player with the ability to manage multiple active improvements.Must be a result oriented, change agent, with the ability to successfully interface with all levels and areas of the organization, establish close working relationships, and build consensus for chosen solutions.Proven influence and collaboration skills and ability to effectively interact with management to identify, develop, and implement process improvements.Able to be flexible and adapt to different work groups, work styles, and work environments.Ability to quantify impact to process metrics and financials.Ability to develop creative solutions to problem solving.Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills, including presenting to large groupsTravel approximately 20 weeks per year.Generally, Monday-Friday, will require weekends based on Business NeedsDrivers License RequiredClosing Statement:This summary is not an all-inclusive description of job duties.
