This position requires a typing speed of 70 to 80 wpm SUMMARY Handles processing and scheduling of parts/unit orders for all the customer service dept. Handles aftermarket parts quotes. Works with intercompany offices in getting unit and system orders written up and put through the system. Utilize deep understanding of inventory movements and availability to strategize paths for optimal deliveries. Maintain stocking levels through utilizing efficient channels of communication with sales engineers and clients regarding usage and delivery requirements. Assists other customer service agents with overflow work as needed. Covers the front desk on a rotational schedule. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. COMPUTER SKILLS Must be able to type 70 words per minute without error. Demonstrates a proficiency to operate a variety of software programs including, but not limited to, word processing, spreadsheets, presentation graphics, Email, personal information management and specialized programs relating to job function. REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
