Job Title: Customer Service Specialist (Temporary Position)Duration: February 20, 2024, to May 31, 2024 (with the possibility of extension until June 6, 2024, for travel to California for convention)Overview: We are seeking qualified individuals to join a temporary team as Customer Service Specialists for an upcoming International Convention. Successful candidates will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service to convention attendees, exhibitors, staff and vendors.Responsibilities:Communication Skills:Respond to general customer service inquiries via phone or email.Effectively convey ideas, instructions, and services in written form.Customer Service:Handle heavy email and phone line communication related to registration, company presentations, and partnering activities.Utilize web-based programs, learning proprietary systems quickly with training.Data Entry:Ensure accurate and efficient data entry for processing customer orders/changes/edits.Correct and update basic information in registration systems.Database Maintenance:Research companies and update contact information in databases.Feedback and Reporting:Provide timely feedback to the company regarding service failures or customer concerns.Work independently to complete assigned vitation Management:Draft and edit invitations for company presentation follow-up and outreach.Prepare shipments, send, and track bulk invitations.Web Editing and Testing:Conduct miscellaneous web editing, review, and general testing of registration, public web pages, and partnering system links and functionality.Office Environment:Operate in a professional office environment.Flexibility:Adapt to changes in duties, responsibilities, and activities with or without notice.Undertake other projects and customer support tasks as assigned.Language Skills:Foreign language skills are highly desired but not required, including (especially) proficiency in Spanish, French, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, or Portuguese..Qualifications:Must be able to remain for duration of contractAbility to travel, if selected, to West Coast for convention in early June.Positive and proven customer service experience - must be an outstanding people-personStrong writing and speaking skills.Familiarity with MS Excel, MS Word, and data entry.Team-oriented self-starter.Pay Details: $21.00 per hourSearch managed by: Nathaniel Hawkins Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
