Join us Under the direction of the Facilities Maintenance Manager, the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for the safe maintenance, repair, or replacement of plant systems, buildings, and grounds. You will have the opportunity to: Lead the facilities maintenance team to meet overall long- and short-term company goals. This includes definition and communication of goals, key objectives, and metrics. This would include, but is not limited to, uptime improvement and preventative maintenance compliance. Represent Materion Corporation, Electronic Materials Division, and Brewster Facility leadership to the Maintenance Team. Lead team meetings, and attend meetings required to maintain consistent communication with all other teams in the business. Ensure proper operation and maintenance of, but not limited to, electrical systems and lighting, HVAC systems, cranes, water distribution and cooling systems, generators, filters, and air compressors. Lead and develop the facilities maintenance staff consisting of mechanics, electricians, technicians, and clerical staff. Assist the Facilities Maintenance Manager with Department activities to develop, track, monitor, and improve Maintenance Management Systems and key maintenance performance indicators. Work with the Operations Manager, Engineering Manager, EH&S, and Security Manager, prioritize daily facilities maintenance staff activities to support plant equipment, supporting systems, building, and grounds. Work with the Facilities Maintenance Manager to identify, lead, and support capital expense and construction projects. REQUIREMENTS: Broad understanding of general maintenance requirements, including but not limited to, mechanical repair, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, welding, construction, etc. Strong project management skills, business sense and ability to make good decisions in the light of limited information. Associates degree from a two year college in a related technical field, certificate from a trade school in a related field, or engineering related military training to level E-5 or above, preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience as an hourly Lead or salaried Supervisor of a maintenance team. Minimum of 10 years of experience in industrial maintenance. Demonstrated leadership and management experience of a maintenance team, including safety training, team building, policy adherence, good citizenship, and leading by example. Positive, solution based attitude. Position expectation is approximately 80% office/desk work, 20% floor work. Salary Range: $80,600 - $120,900 Actual base salary offered varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location. The selection of the person to be hired for this position is contingent on the candidate having export compliance eligibility for access to U.S. controlled technology which comes under the licensing jurisdiction of the U.S. Department of State, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the U.S. Department of Commerce, Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
