Responsibilities This position is responsible for overseeing the daily clinical activities of a mobile therapeutic apheresis service. Manages, trains, mentors, and develops assigned staff.Ensures adherence to SOPs, regulations, guidelines, practices and policies.Maintains quality patient care and services to the community through implementation of staff training program, standards of care, process improvement plans and excellent customer service.Assists to achieve the financial objective of the department through annual budget and cost analysis preparation.Works in conjunction with medical staff to review all patient treatments and recommended treatment municates with referring physicians and hospitals and acts as a professional resource.Assists the medical staff with operations planning and problem resolution to achieve program goals.Develops and implements a continuous quality improvement program and risk management activities.Develop and implement a staff training plan to ensure staff comprehension of all apheresis procedures, possible procedure related complications, new directives and regulatory guidelines.Assists marketing in establishing procedural rates for new and existing customers and defining project margins. Qualifications Education:Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Experience:Five years of experience in nursing with at least three years in a critical care capacity, experience must include supervisory/managerial experience. Licenses / CertificationsNew York or New Jersey RN License at the time of hire and the ability to obtain licensure in all states of operation within one year of hire (exceptions are left up to department discretion). Valid Driver's License. BCLS Certification. For applicants who will perform this position in New York City or Westchester County, the proposed annual salary is $135,000.00/year to $150,000.00/year. For applicants who will perform this position outside of New York City or Westchester County, salary will reflect local market rates and be commensurate with the applicant's skills, job-related knowledge, and experience.
