Job Description:Global Markets provides financing, securities clearing, settlement and custody services globally to our institutional investor clients in support of their investing and trading activities. We also work with our commercial and corporate clients to provide risk management products using interest rate, equity, credit, currency and commodity derivatives, foreign exchange, fixed-income and mortgage-related products. Within Markets, the Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities (FICC) is a dynamic business that spans across sales and trading globallyPosition Overview:Located in New York, NY the Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities (FICC) HR Manager will support the FICC Sales team across the Americas. In this role, the HR Manager will build strong relationships across all levels within this team and will be the point person for all HR related items. This individual will be responsible for all people related items and will have a seat at the table to help drive the people agenda within this group. There are ~250 employees across FICC Sales that span across US, LatAm and Canada and across 10 different product lines. To be successful in this role, the individual must have the ability to think strategically yet be comfortable with diving deep into data and process. Strong problem resolution skills and a background in working in a regulated environment.Ability to implement best practices related to organizational design, change management, innovative ideas to help drive our diversity & inclusion initiatives, talent acquisition, headcount management, compensation, employee relations and talent management are components of this role and will need to be exercised at various points in the year. Strong data analytic skills are preferred along with the ability to adapt in a very fast paced business. Key Responsibilities:Drives initiatives focused on culture & conduct, employee satisfaction, diversity and inclusion, management coaching and leadership developmentIdeas related to organizational health remain at the forefront of workforce design and planning Understand the business model which will help in driving a relevant people agendaLeads the year-end compensation process and partners with comp throughout the year Participates in talent planning initiatives including critical assessment of talent, employee development, coaching.
