WHAT YOU''LL DOAs the East Region Manager of the clinical strategic account team for the Healthcare Professional sales organization at Abbott''s diabetes care division, you''ll lead and support a 'best in class'' field team to orchestrate Abbott''s coordinated presence within key IDNs and health systems, enabling the broader sales team to deliver individualized, value-add solutions to better serve our patient and healthcare professional customers.Responsibilities:Build and foster a cohesive strong team culture centered on delivering results, growth and development, collaboration, and accountabilityCoach your team on meaningful profiling of IDN/Health systems and key stakeholder and create individualized strategic plans to deliver value-add solutions within key accounts that advance the diabetes standard of careEnsure executive management and stakeholders are kept informed of critical-path progress and variances from planChampion the clinical outcomes of FreeStyle Libre personal CGMs and CGM as the standard of care in diabetes management through meaningful on-label clinical discussions with key opinion leaders (KOL) and stakeholdersAppropriately gather market intelligence and information to support overall business strategy and partner with Marketing on new content and innovative programming ideasFacilitate Peer-to-Peer speaker program excellence by identifying and nominating engaging, knowledgeable speakers, lead contracting discussions, train on content and coach on presentation quality, and ensure compliance of one''s portfolio of ADC contracted speakersCollaborate with Marketing and cross-functional colleagues to plan and execute commercial consulting opportunities and advisory boardsFollow all laws, regulations and policies that govern the conduct of all activitiesBe accountable for being fully knowledgeable of, and abiding by, all relevant policiesBehaviors critical for success:Demonstrated strategic planning and critical thinkingCuriosity about the business and the impact of your team''s activitiesDemonstrated self-initiative, proactivity, and anticipationAbility to actively engage and provide meaningful, constructive feedbackProven success balancing unexpected priorities while remaining engaged in routine deliverablesEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU''LL BRINGRequired:Bachelors Degree requiredMinimum 8 years experience leading a field team, preferably in the MedDevice/Pharma/BioTech industryMinimum 5 years work experience in one or more of the following: field sales, product marketing, agency or medical/clinical experience in the diabetes therapeutic area within the medical device, pharmaceutical and/or biotech industryPreferred:WHAT WE OFFER At Abbott, you can have a good job that can grow into a great career.
