We focus on innovative technologies that can improve the way doctors treat people.We currently have an opportunity for an Endovascular Therapy Manager - Northeast to support new therapies and product integration as we launch to market. The Therapy Manager is responsible for the sale of products and for the development and execution of sales plans, targets and budgets aligned with the team''s sales strategy. You''ll also work with the rest of the sales team to identify and evaluate market opportunities; work with marketing and training to focus on supporting procedural development and market awareness within their territories. The role will include responsibility for training, development, and implementing strategies to achieve division objectives. You''ll also develop the activities to support the integration of new products that will support key stakeholders. This is a field-based position, and requires approximately 60-75% travel. WHAT YOU''LL DO:Responsible for developing general market awareness and creating an environment where the sales team has a high proficiency in procedural support. Actively engage in clinical, procedural and technical discussions, linking data outcomes to key messaging.Drive to help support a culture of innovation, innovation and accountability as well as foster an entrepreneurial environment.Ensures operational practices across the region run smoothly, meets budget and sales goals, and are complying with any marketing campaigns and promotions.Responsible for supporting sales representatives and key account colleagues in the management of key client relationships with key customers.Collaborate with other team members to foster a diverse workplace that enables all to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives.Keep the organization''s vision and values at the forefront of decision making and action.Build strategic partnerships to further departmental and organizational objectives.Leverage technical and professional knowledge and skills to drive innovation and adoption of products.Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures (e.g. compliance with FDA, BSI, EEO regulations, etc.)Operate in a legal and ethical manner.Create immediate to long-range plans to carry out objectives established by leadership, including input on forecasting, financial and organizational needs.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE, YOU''LL BRING:Bachelor''s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent or equivalent plus typically 5+ years of medical device or related sales experience.Seasoned judgment acquired through organizational experience and achievements in the medical sales profession.Ability to prepare and present effectively written and verbal communications.Thorough familiarity with medical device industry policies, operations, and prehensive ability to effectively prioritize development projects using customer input.Documented record of delivering strategic competitive intelligence or marketing information which adds value to management''s decision-making process.Expert verbal and written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.Demonstrated working knowledge of frequently used personal computer programs and applications, such as, Microsoft Office.This position requires business travel, approximately 60-75%.Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environmentStrong leadership skills, including the ability to set goals and provide positive and constructive feedback respectfully to build positive relationships and improve business resultsStrong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.WHAT WE OFFER At Abbott, you can have a good job that can grow into a great career.
