USD $52,000.00/Yr.USD $52,000.00/Yr.SCOPE OF ROLE:The Intake Specialist assists in coordinating and monitoring all activities connected with potential resident intake, answering calls as it pertains to Single Point of Access (SPA).ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:File and retrieve documents and reference materialsMonitor, screen, respond to and distribute incoming communicationsReceive and interact with incoming visitorsLiaise with internal staff at all levelsInteract with external clientsProvides timely, accurate and clear documentation according to established policies and procedures.Handles unexpected situations by responding effectively to challenges, deadlines and emergencies. Other duties as requested by Program DirectorThe salary for this role is 19.23/HRPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLSBachelor's degree in Human Services or related field preferred. Experience:CASAC-T required, CASAC preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.Computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheets.Good verbal and written communication skills.Valid New York State Driver’s License a plus, but not required.Join a team of employees who cares about the wellbeing of others.
