Job DescriptionAdvance Auto Parts, a leader in the automotive aftermarket, currently has an opening for a Sr. Email Developer on the CRM team. This position is responsible for audience segmentation, building out reports using out-of-the-box tools within Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Automation Studio, managing email deployments, and coding email modules via HTML/CSS and AMPscript for email campaigns in the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform. The Sr. Email Developer will actively engage in campaign implementation strategies with the business stakeholders and design teams on audience requirements, layouts, and interactions for templates for use within Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Workflow also includes proofing and QA of emails before deployment using industry-standard tools such as Litmus. This position is fully Remote and candidates from any U.S. city will be considered.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.Configure email deployments in Automation Studio or Journey BuilderBuild and maintain audience segments in Automation StudioCollaborate with business stakeholders to understand project scope and define requirements for email marketing campaignsMonitor and investigate deliverability issues and serve as contact with vendor(s)Creating audience segments based on personalized fields or email metricsDevelop emails using HTML, CSS, and proprietary scripting languages based on business sponsor requirements.Develop and execute test strategies, functioning in an agile environmentEnsure that email functionality works within a variety of browsers and devices prior to deployment.Research AMPscript best practices and train the development team to implementPrepare work for any presentation/proofing to strategic partnersThe above information on this description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this classification.
