They are looking for a strong Regional Technical Manager and Asset Services (NY) to join the growing industrial team. DescriptionThe Regional Technical Manager and Asset Services (NY) will be responsible for: Coordinate with third party contractors in providing comprehensive building setup and operations management, financial budgeting and expense controls, technical contract and procurement management for property-related services within the property/portfolioManage project deliverables and act as the focal point for Asset Management, Government Authorities, Business Partners and Tenant service support liaison on Technical mattersWhere necessary, act as the Project Manager on mechanical systems or other building projectsProvide management oversight of preventative maintenance plan/activities to ensure contractors/vendors and technicians meet quality standardsContribute to developing and maintaining facility construction and design standardsKeeps abreast of latest technology to further improve cost or performance of facility systems, propose, plan and coordinate capital asset enhancement/upgrade projectsEnsures health and safety practices are followed closely in all work environments including but not limited to issues related to mechanical, electrical, fire, chemical and other hazardsProfileThe ideal Regional Technical Manager and Asset Services (NY) will:Possess a Bachelor''s Degree or its equivalent, in Electrical/Mechanical/Building Services Engineering or Construction Management7 - 10 years of relevant experienceManagement experience in operational/technical facilities or construction experience managing a multi-state and/or multi-site portfolio of high rise commercial, industrial, and/or multifamily propertiesExcellent understanding of building systemsAbility to read, analyze, and interpret common technical documents, architectural plans, and financial reports as well as proficiency to fully understand drawing/drafting practices, utilize engineering standards of design, creating scopes of work, construction and to effectively use a CAD systemExperience in estimatingHigh level of independence, as well as excellent leadership and collaboration skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsEffective organization and time management skillsInterest in continuous improvement in processes and performance along with a high degree of attention to detailProficiency with project management software Proficient as well as MS Office skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)Job OfferBase + Bonus + Benefits
