The intent of the project is to hook Sherlock as an exit on claims mainframe and enable Sherlock powered analytic processes to drive claim decision process across LOBs thus helping UHC Operations overall with respect to claim operations and payment integrity. With this process implementation, Sherlock aims on facilitating pre-pay clinical audit vs post-pay audit basis which analytics is driven in its traditional environment. Primary Responsibilities: Requirements Analysis & Planning Lead one/more project execution independently with manager doing high level client communication and project planning. Figures out how to build a Solution Responsible for the Project documentation Design & Develop Design, Build & Deploy Optimized solutions using Big Data Tech Stack Capability Development Work with Senior team members to develop new capabilities for the team Collaboration Collaborate with Enterprise teams within UHG for requirement gathering and use case implementation for the product/project Collaborate with Data Scientists & Data Analysts to work on a solution to address a business problem You''ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: Bachelor''s degree 5+ years overall IT experience 5+ years of experience with Big Data Ecosystem - Hive, Sqoop, Spark (RDD, SQL, Streaming), Kafka 4+ years of experience with Programming Languages - Python /Scala/Java 2+ years of experience with SpringBoot MicroService, API Creation 2+ years of experience with NO SQL Databases - HBase/MongoDB/Cassandra Data Warehousing Design, Snowflake Schema on Big Data Environment Configuration Management - GitHub Relational Databases - SQL Server/Oracle/Teradata/IBM DB2/MySQL Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this role. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $90,500 to $161,600.
