The Williamsburg Hotel is an independent lifestyle boutique hotel looking for a Senior Sales Manager with experience in sales and film production to grow all accounts in his/her market segment. The Senior Sales Manager will work closely with our clients to nurture and develop relationships. Responsibilities: -Create a strategic sales plan in line with budget objectives and revenue goals -Develop and implement sales strategies to surpass revenue goals -Effectively utilize film productions when required to enhance sale/ revenue goals -Promote our brand through productions or digitalized methods of advertisements -Oversee the retention and acquisition of accounts by growing existing accounts and generating new business that meets or exceeds sales forecasts -Prospect, set appointments, conduct cold calls, direct sales calls, and attend hotel tours -Manage key accounts and ensure an effective account management program is in place for the reservations, sales, and catering teams -Maintain a strong relationship with key accounts to provide clients with a high level of service and swift follow-up to problems that may develop -Ensure all client files are complete with required information, i.e. complete booking/function reports, appropriate trace dates indicated, convention resumes, proposals, contracts, correspondence, group histories, and master billing approval -Attend and participate in daily/weekly Sales meeting and Daily Department Head Operational meeting as needed -Meet and greet onsite contacts -Attend all high-profile events hosted in the hotel -Analyze market trends, competitive hotels, and intelligence tools to secure the ''right'' business -Stay abreast of competition and industry developments -Perform any other duties as requested by the Hotel General Manager
