Job Summary The Senior Catering Sale Manager responsible for meeting sales goals, by working with clients and/or developing new market segments and securing profitable sales that meet our standards. This position partners with operations management to ensure execution of best in class Catering events. The great things you will be expected to do: Develop market segments and solicit new customer relationships while maintaining existing relationshipsDevelop catering sales marketing plan, goals & strategiesConduct property tours and participate in trade shows, industry and community events to promote facilities and servicesNegotiate services and prices to maximize revenue and profitabilityKnowledgeable of competitive set and recommends sales/pricing strategies, service and product improvementsResponsible for preparing and reporting out on budgets; financial targets and sales forecasts.Ensure that all appropriate data, presentation and communication is available for quarterly business reviews, and or, distributed in a timely manner to leadership teamsMaintain excellent relationships with the Client and their guests, as well as all departments within operationsCommunicates with everyone with honesty and integrityPartner with operations management to ensure execution of best in class Catering eventsOther duties as assigned What we look for in a great candidate: College BS or BA degree; Bachelor's Degree in hospitality, hotel/restaurant or business management is preferred. A minimum of 2-4 years of industry experience in place of a dustry contacts and relationships that can be leveraged in networking and recruitment of other team members a strong plusExtensive knowledge and ability of basic sales skills and advanced selling techniques.
