Job description JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: Intern, Sales Analysis & Capabilities Reports to: Manager, Revenue Growth Management Number of Direct Reports: 0 Key Internal Partners: Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance Key External Partners: Location: New York (Hybrid) Time: June 2024, 3 month internship Compensation: $30/hour, 30 hour/week Job Summary: The Sales Analysis & Capabilities Intern is responsible for supporting the Sales Strategy, Revenue Growth Management, and Category Management teams to drive sales enablement and unearth actionable insights. This position will play a crucial role through the development and adoption of best-in-class reporting and analytics that simplifies data and enables speed to decision. As part of this role, the Sales Analysis & Capabilities Intern will work cross-functionally with Sales, Brand, Demand Planning, and Finance, creating and optimizing tools and resources that facilitate the achievement of organizational goals. Job Responsibilities & Tasks: Data Analysis & Visualization Utilize business intelligence tools, such as Microsoft Power BI or similar software, to analyze datasets and create visually compelling reports and dashboards that facilitate decision-making processes and drive strategic actions. Create job aids and other relevant documentation for newly created dashboards and reports Collaborative Projects Engage in cross-functional projects, partnering with teams such as Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand business needs, recommend the best solution/process, and align to deliverables and timing Bring unique perspective and thought leadership on how to improve commercial processes, streamline operations, and enhance overall organizational effectiveness Learning and Development Actively participate in learning opportunities to enhance your business acumen, analytical skills, and proficiency in business intelligence tools. Seek guidance from mentors and expand your knowledge of commercial strategy, data modeling, and visualization Key Performance Indicator (KPI): Commercial Strategy Team Support Accuracy and Timely Completion of Projects Useful Tools and Capabilities Communication & Knowledge-Sharing Innovative Approach and Output Position Requirements: EDUCATION Currently enrolled in Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration or equivalent required. EXPERIENCE Proficiency using MS Office Applications Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, or similar data visualization / business intelligence software experience preferred Data modeling and transforming raw data into insights Working in teams; collaborating on projects SKILLS Strong project management, analytical skills, and attention to detail Demonstrated ability to independently manipulate and data Strong collaboration and personal interaction skills Curiosity and willingness to learn Creative problem solving Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills PHYSICAL & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS Must be able work in standard office conditions Must be able to work a minimum of 8 hours per day
