We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Box Truck Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in route/material deliveries and a proven track record of safe and efficient driving. As a Box Truck Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods to designated locations while ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. If you are a dedicated and detail-oriented professional with excellent driving skills, we invite you to apply for this position.Responsibilities:Safely maneuver a 26' box truck to efficiently transport goods and products to designated locations.Plan and follow the most efficient routes to ensure on-time deliveriesLoad and unload merchandise from the truck using appropriate equipment and techniquesVerify and confirm the accuracy of delivery orders with customersAdhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while drivingPerform routine inspections and maintenance checks on the vehicleMaintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery receiptsCommunicate with the dispatch team and customers to provide updates on delivery statusHandle any customer inquiries or concerns in a professional and courteous mannerFollow company policies and procedures regarding delivery schedules and protocolsPreferred Qualifications:Previous experience as a box truck or delivery driverKnowledge of local traffic laws and routesExcellent driving skills and a strong commitment to safetyAbility to handle physical demands of loading and unloading goodsGood communication and customer service skillsBasic math skills for verifying order quantities and handling cash transactionsAttention to detail and accuracy in completing delivery paperworkAbility to work independently and follow instructionsFlexible schedule with the willingness to work occasional weekends or overtimePhysical demands: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.
