Scully & Scully, the prestigious Park Avenue home furnishings store is seeking a creative individual with a college degree to join our team as a Social Media/Web Content Specialist.Location: 504 Park AvenueSchedule: Full Time,Monday - Friday,The Customer Service Representative Will Be Responsible For: • Managing and expanding our reach on all social media platforms (Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook) • Coordinate photoshoots for new content • Adding new products via our CMS software and managing existing items and product categories, including product descriptions, photography, and SEO tags • Writing and editing engaging and SEO-friendly product copy • Providing well-written, organized, and relevant product copy and content that will be used for the e-commerce site, email marketing, social media, and direct mail catalogs • Liaising with vendors to ensure full product lines are available and up-to-date on our site - Managing product image collections and uploading photography to e-commerce site • Creating and editing basic web content using HTML • Providing day-to-day maintenance and content management including updating homepage and featured content across the site • Working closely with our web development team in reporting bugs and coming up with new web features as well as maintaining all aspects of web usability, content, and design • Testing content and development/feature changes across multiple devices/browsers and providing approval before release to production site • Working closely with E-Commerce Director on special advertising or marketing projects • Coordinating, managing, and executing all updates through CMS • Work closely with E-Commerce team to enhance and improve success of E-commerce sales channelAs Web Content Specialist you must have knowledge of the following: • Knowledge of CMS software and a thorough understanding of E-commerce websites • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, primarily Illustrator and Photoshop • Basic understanding of HTML • Knowledge of best practices for web creativeQualifications To Interview For The Social Media/Web Content Specialist position: • Bachelor''s degree in a related field • Minimum of 2 years of related experience • Be highly organized, detail-oriented and be able to work on multiple projects at once • Possess excellent writing and verbal skills • Be a team player as well as be able to work independently • Be E-commerce savvy and a problem solver • Ability to multi-task and prioritize • Computer data entry proficiencyBenefits: • Health Insurance • 401(K) • Accrued Paid Time Off • Paid Holidays • Discount on company productsPlease attach your resume in PDF or DOC format Similar Job Titles:Content Specialist, Marketing Assistant, Social Media Marketing,
