Job DescriptionPosition Summary: Primary intermediary providing plan sponsors with benefit plan consulting services. Ensures all plan contracts and certificates are completed accurately and in a timely fashion.Prepares, reviews and/or edits employer certificates, contracts and employee booklets according to pre-determined standards; ensures benefits are mapped accordingly and drafts all legislatively mandated booklets and contracts requested by plan sponsors.Following a thorough evaluation of client's summary plan descriptions and other related documents, effectively communicates any required revisions and or changes to avoid unintended liability in support of the terprets and utilizes available resources in responding to both standard and non-standard benefit drafting requests; if necessary, negotiates language modifications to comply with regulatory requirements.Identifies situations where special contractual language might be needed and partners with legal and other impacted areas to explore requirements and feasibility for change.Coordinates and collaborates with financial risk management area regarding financial agreements and proposed guarantees.Has responsibility for securing all required signatures and determining which documents are necessary for plan benefit plan execution; adheres to all confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines in securing benefit plan information.Works with internal and external constituents to proactively resolve case specific benefit/legislative issues, and/or other customer inquiries or benefit related pletes legislative comparisons and assists with state filing processes.Maintains complete and accurate documentation of all case communications (i.e., oral and written correspondence) - both internal and external.Maintains registrar designation.Provides technical expertise and mentoring for junior staff members; might serve as the subject matter liaison with other support areas for the function; identifies key policies and procedures influencing benefit consulting and alerts peers/junior staff of potential impact .Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 18.50Maximum: 33.65Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required QualificationsRequired Qualifications: Experience supporting custom products and/or services. Experience producing electronic documents. Demonstrated aptitude to develop people and processes.
