Job Description: MarketWatch is seeking an experienced editor for its rapidly expanding commerce initiatives. With both thorough reviews of products and services and an extensive how-to library, MarketWatch's commerce brands help readers make informed decisions about what to buy and how to manage their money. The assistant editor will work closely with a team of editors and writers to develop a robust product review and how-to library. You will focus on content that covers a wide range of both consumer and financial products and services "” everything from solar panels to pet insurance to bank accounts. If you're the kind of person who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves getting to read different kinds of content each day, this role may be an excellent fit. The ideal candidate will have at least a year of editing experience, ideally in the personal finance space. You will be passionate about breaking down sometimes complicated topics in a way that will engage our audience and help them choose the products and services that best fit their needs and budgets. You'll also play an integral role in shaping and deciding upon new coverage areas. The role will be based in New York and will work hybrid from our NYC Office.
